Hi i use a voip phone which is connected to my computor by a usb cable. I have put the phone number into my voip program but when i try and phone the number it goes straght to answer phone. Can any body tell me what i am dong wrong or if i need some more equipmentt be able to use my voip discount with the phone number Many Thanks Stefan

Hi Stefan

This has actually been picked up in our support mailbox as well but, I'll answer the question here in case anyone else is using VoIPDiscount.

Essentially, VoIPDiscount is a proprietary system for VoIP, similar to the likes of Skype. Our numbers simply won't work with this service. In the software, you can set "custom" caller ID's and, in there you can use a VoIP number for your caller ID but, cannot receive any incoming calls through one of our numbers using their software.
