Transfer of calls failing 50% of the time Options

We have an issue where calls transfer only about half the time. Is there anything we can do to improve this? We have two different (admittedly fairly cheap) handsets, and the problem happens with both units.

If anyone can offer any assistance, it would be gratefully accepted.

We are capable of accessing and making changes to our router if anything needs doing there.

Hi Graham,

Can you confirm the make of handset you are using and the procedure you are following to transfer calls?
