Default Voicemail Greeting Options

Hi,

Can someone tell me what the default voicemail greeting is supposed to say? I'm sure it used to be something along the lines of...

"The person at extension 1000 is unavailable. Please leave a message after the tone... BEEP".

All I get now if I call my number from an external number is...

"The person at extension 1000 is unavailable... BEEP".

The caller hears this message followed by a beep and wonders "Should I be leaving a message now??" Can any other users of the Soho66 system just do a quick check for me and see what default answer message you get?

I've contacted support about this but they inform me that the greeting has never said "Please leave a message after the tone". Seems like a very odd voicemail greeting that doesn't at any time instruct the caller to leave a message!!??

On this note - I have tried to put a recorded wav file as my out of hours voicemail - however even though I 'finish the step by sending to voicemail' and select this file - some people phone and still here the 1000 thing.
Although wierdly when I called it played it!?

Anyway is there a way to stop the 1000 thing?
