Cannot edit my Profile in the forum Options

As the title says I cannot edit my Profile in the forum. When selecting edit profile option I get error message and lots of code. ie. Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).

I've had a responce from the support ticket I raised saying "Profiles" are an unsupported feature.
