I have a Cisco 7940 which I changed the firmware to SIP.

Outbound calls are working fine, but not inbound.
I setup port forwarding on the phone to forward to the IP of the phone on port 5060 and 20000 - 20099. I am using a Sky ADSL Router.

I tried an external port scanner which doesn't get replies on those ports.

Any Ideas?

Hi Joseph,

The Cisco 7940 is not designed to be used over the internet with a provider such as Soho66, it was designed to be used on an internal Cisco phone system.

It is possible to change the firmware on the phones to use them with a provider such as Soh66 but Soho66 can offer no support for such phones unfortunately.
