Well the title says it all. If I am not on my voip phone I have diverts set. I have an 0207 XXX XXX number. I assume the customer is charged at whatever rate his provider charges for 0207 numbers when he talks to me. Is the customer charged that same rate if he/she does not get through?

Thanks

Richard

Hi Richard,

Your customer will be charged the same rate whether you answer the call on a VoIP phone or whether you forward to a mobile.

It is free for you to receive the call on your VoIP phone, it will cost you 8.5 p per minute if you answer the call on your UK mobile or 1p per minute if you answer the call on your UK landline number.

Thank you Stephen. Thats not exactly the scenario.

If I don't pick up it goes to VOIP voicemail. Does that count for the customer calling in as a connection for which he is charged by his operator?

Logically I guess it would in the same way as if he left a message on my mobile voicemail. I just wondered if VOIP voicemail was different.

Thanks

Richard

Hi Richard,

Sorry for the confusion, your caller would be charged for a call that went to your Soho66 voicemail box, the charge would be whatever his provider charges for calls to landline numbers.
