Missed call numbers Options

I missed a call this morning and saw the number flash up on my handset. They left a blank voicemail message but it came through to my e-mail with my number instead of theirs. Also the missed call on my handset shows my number not theirs. Have I misconfigured something?

I'm still having this problem and I'm not sure how to fix it!

This is what I receive by e-mail:

We're writing to let you know that you have missed a call to one of your numbers. The caller has not left you a voicemail message.

The details of the call are:
Call from vm to 1000 at Nov 6 2010 10:58:30


And my telephone shows a missed call from my number not theirs.

People rarely seem to leave a message so it would be good to know who called. Is anyone else having this problem?

I've set my mobile phone to ring while my VoIP handset rings, and it records the missed call numbers accurately. It's a good temporary solution but not ideal - just in case anyone else has the same question
