Restarting your Equipment

Restart your network equipment and phone

Often, simply restarting your equipment can resolve the issue. 

  • Switch your main Internet/ADSL/cable router off and leave it off for 30 seconds
  • Switch your router back on and wait for 60 seconds
  • Switch off any wireless or network switches for 30 seconds and then back on, wait for 60 seconds
  • Switch your phone and/or PC (if you use a softphone) off for 30 seconds and then back on
