192.168.0.160 IP address

My device shows an IP address of 192.168.0.160

If your handset is showing an IP address of 192.168.0.160, this means that the device is not receiving an IP address from your broadband router as this is the default IP address for any Grandstream phone.

Possible solutions for this would be to first check the connection to your Grandstream phone, making sure that your network cable is connected into the LAN port on the back of the phone. This then goes directly into a port on the back of your broadband router or network switch.

If this does not resolve the issue we would recommend that you disconnect the phone from the power by removing the power cable, then reboot your broadband router. Please allow 5 minutes for this to fully reboot then reconnect your phone.

If the issue persists, change the addressing type from DHCP to Static and enter the IP address manually if you have the ability to do this.

If the device is still showing the default IP address, then please get in touch with our technical support team on 03333443443
